    All About Olive

Happy Sunday, friends! Things have been a little quiet on The Hype the past week as my work schedule has been INSANE and hardly allowed time to eat or sleep. Thankfully the week is behind me and this week looks like it will be a little less hectic.
    Thank the Lord!

Today I wanted to talk a little about budget friendly shopping.
Budget friendly shopping is what made me want to start The Hype. I want to help keep you current with the latest and most popular trends, but want to make sure it is 100% budget friendly.
I have always been intrigued with other fashion bloggers and loved following along with them but found myself constantly being disappointed when they would post an adorable top and found it to be totally out of my price range. I want every outfit I share to be easily achievable for you guys. Being realistic is an absolute must for me as most people (including myself) don’t have an endless budget.

One of my favorite purchases is an affordable piece that can be worn in so many different ways and throughout other seasons, like this super comfy white camisole. It can easily be paired with a cute cardi for the fall or with these super cute olive tie waist shorts for the summer. These shorts are so soft and super stretchy which is great for us wider hipped girls (they don’t rid up which is great)! They also just so happen to be on sale and under $40!
Another current favorite of mine are these leopard cross strap sandals, mine are older and are from J Crew but I found these amazing dupes for under $50 at Nordstrom, shocker. I swear Nordstrom is my go to for everything.
If you have been following my blog for awhile now you’ll notice that the majority of my closet is super budget friendly and is under $100. However, I do have a few nicer staple pieces like my favorite Tory Burch satchel that I worked my ass off for, but is still super transitional as you can wear it with literally anything! I seriously carry it around daily. I love being able to provide you guys with affordable trendy fashion.
Below I have linked a few of my absolute favorite items along with these adorable olive shorts!
