Happy Monday!! I've got such a busy week + weekend ahead of me. If you guys don't already know I work full time at a local spa and this coming week we are a tad under staffed so I'll be working quiet a bit of overtime. Which I am thankful for as the extra money is great.
On top of working almost double my normal hours this week/ weekend Chris's close friend is getting married on Saturday and I just found out that I am now a bridesmaid for this wedding that is less than a week away! I am super excited but the hunt is on to find a dress (totally stressing me out) in time.
This week is just CRAY.
A sure way of staying on-trend this season is by adding a faux leather skirt to the wardrobe.
Which is great news for all of us skirt lovers, because odds are we probably already own a few! One of my favorite transitional pieces is a good skirt, wether is be leather, suede or even velvet. Texas is still too warm during the fall months making it hard to find those cute items that still scream "fall" without literally melting outside. Now, I'll admit I am guilty of being that crazy girl who from time to time risks melting to wear my new favorite sweater. But for those of you who aren't about that melting life this faux leather skirt and mock neck sweater is the outfit for you!
This faux leather skirt is perfect for fall in the South and also for the cooler temperatures because it is super easy to layer with tights and OTK boots. Add a comfy knit sweater to the mix and you'll be good through December.
Not only are they easily transional but they are also easily dressed up or dressed down. This maroon one would be perfectly paired with a cute graphic tee and your Adidas for a casual run around town or dressing it up a bit with a black bodysuit, a leather jacket and some heels or OTK boots for a night out with the girls. If you ask me, everyone needs at least one faux leather skirt in their closet.
